Yehu eradicates the entire family of Ahab, massacres the worshippers of Baal, but fails to turn away from the golden calves of Yerovam.

Yehu orchestrates the execution of Ahab's seventy sons in Shomron and kills Achazyah's royal relatives. He gathers all the prophets, priests, and worshippers of Baal under the guise of offering a great sacrifice, only to massacre them all and demolish their temple. While commended by Hashem for destroying Baal worship, Yehu tragically maintains the golden calves of Yerovam.
