David flees from Jerusalem

Avshalom spends years stealing the hearts of the Israelites. He goes to Chevron and declares himself king, gaining a massive following that includes Dovid's advisor Achitofel. Caught off guard, Dovid flees Yerushalayim with his loyal guards. He commands his friend Chushai to return to the city to spy and thwart Achitofel.
