Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) — Perek 15

Hashem declares that even Moshe and Shmuel could not save the people from judgment.

Hashem tells Yirmiyahu that even if Moshe and Shmuel stood before Him, He would not relent from punishing Yehudah. The people are destined for death, sword, famine, and captivity. Yirmiyahu falls into despair, cursing his birth and complaining of his suffering. Hashem reassures him, promising to save him from the wicked if he remains faithful.
