Menashe rules Yehudah with unparalleled wickedness and idolatry, prompting Hashem to decree the absolute destruction of Yerushalayim.

Menashe succeeds his father Chizkiyahu and rules for fifty-five years, reversing all religious reforms by building pagan altars inside the Beit HaMikdash and sacrificing his own son. He sheds immense innocent blood, pushing Yehudah into sins worse than the Canaanites, which drives Hashem to decree the irreversible destruction of Yerushalayim. His son Amon continues this wicked path and is assassinated.
