Yeshayahu (Isaiah) — Perek 2

The vision of the End of Days with universal peace at the Beit HaMikdash, contrasted with the humbling of proud idolaters.

Yeshayahu prophesies the exalted status of the mountain of Hashem's house in the End of Days, where all nations will stream to learn His ways and beat their swords into plowshares. In sharp contrast, the present reality of Yehudah is filled with idolatry, wealth, and haughtiness. The prophet declares the coming Day of Hashem, when human arrogance will be completely shattered and Hashem alone exalted.
