Hashem's redemption of Israel through fire and water, the ingathering of the exiles, and the promise of a new path in the wilderness.

Hashem comforts Israel, declaring that He created and redeemed them by name: when they pass through deep waters and burning fire, they will not be harmed. Hashem commands the north and south to surrender His sons and daughters from the ends of the earth. Israel serves as Hashem's witnesses that He alone is God and Savior, Who will make a brand-new way in the wilderness and rivers in the parched desert.
