Yeshayahu (Isaiah) — Perek 63

The warrior returning from Edom with crimson garments from the winepress, remembrance of ancient kindness, and the plea for divine compassion.

A glorious warrior approaches from Edom and Bozrah in crimson-dyed garments, declaring that He trod the winepress of divine vengeance alone because no one was there to help. The prophet recalls Hashem's historical loving-kindness, angel of presence, and Holy Spirit during the Exodus with Moshe. In the face of a defiled sanctuary and hardened hearts, the prophet pleads with Hashem as Israel's true Father to look down from heaven and return to His servants.
