Yeshayahu (Isaiah) — Perek 66

Heaven is Hashem's throne, the sudden birth of Tzion's children, the cosmic gathering of all nations, and the eternal Sabbath.

Heaven is Hashem's throne and the earth His footstool; He looks not to grand structures but to the poor and contrite of spirit who tremble at His word. Tzion miraculously gives birth to her children in a single moment before labor pains begin, and the faithful are comforted in Yerushalayim like a child nursed by its mother. Hashem comes with fiery chariots to judge the wicked, while survivors gather all nations to see His glory and worship every Sabbath and Rosh Chodesh.

• Heaven is Hashem's throne: Hashem looks to the humble who tremble at His word
• Rejection of hypocritical sacrifices alongside abominations
• Tzion giving birth to a nation in a single moment before labor arrives
• Comfort in Yerushalayim like a child nursed and held by its mother
• All nations gathered from the ends of the earth to worship Hashem on every Sabbath
