Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) — Perek 10

A stark contrast is drawn between the living God and the useless wooden idols of the nations.

The people are warned not to learn the ways of the nations or fear celestial signs. Idols are mocked as mere wood cut from the forest, decorated with silver and gold, but unable to speak or walk. In contrast, Hashem is the true and living God, the Creator of the universe. The chapter concludes with a prayer acknowledging human frailty and asking for gentle correction.
