The sin of Yehudah is engraved with an iron pen, and a warning is given about the Shabbat.

Yehudah's sin is deeply engraved on their hearts. A stark contrast is drawn between the cursed man who trusts in mortals (like a barren desert bush) and the blessed man who trusts in Hashem (like a tree planted by water). The human heart is described as deceitful above all things. The chapter concludes with a strict command to sanctify the Shabbat by not carrying burdens.
