Hashem promises a New Covenant (Brit Chadasha) and comforts Rachel who weeps for her children.

A deeply moving chapter of restoration. Rachel is depicted weeping for her exiled children, but Hashem comforts her, promising they will return from the land of the enemy. Efrayim repents and is warmly accepted. Hashem promises to make a New Covenant (Brit Chadasha) with the houses of Yisrael and Yehudah, where the Torah will be written on their hearts, and all will know Him.
