Peg word: Ma Nishtana(מה)
MA NISHTANA
Baruch asks the Ma Nishtana about his suffering, and Hashem tells him to seek no great things for himself.
A short, personal message of comfort and warning given to Baruch from years earlier.
This brief chapter flashes back to the fourth year of Yehoyakim. Baruch is exhausted and groaning under the weight of writing the prophecies of doom. Hashem tells him not to seek 'great things' for himself during a time of universal destruction. However, Hashem promises Baruch that his life will be spared as a prize of war wherever he goes.
