Hashem commands a search for even one righteous man in Yerushalayim to save the city.

Yirmiyahu is told to roam the streets of Yerushalayim to find a single person who acts justly, but both the poor and the great are thoroughly corrupt. Because they have rejected Hashem and His prophets, a distant, ancient nation with an unknown language will devour their harvest and cities. Despite this, Hashem promises He will not make a complete end of them.
