Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) — Perek 6

The people of Binyamin are told to flee Yerushalayim as a cruel army approaches to besiege it.

The alarm is sounded for the people to flee south from the coming northern invasion. Yerushalayim is completely corrupt, and its religious leaders falsely declare 'Peace, peace' when there is no peace. The people refuse to walk in the ancient, good paths. They are described as being like unrefined bronze and iron that cannot be purified by the refiner's fire.
