Peg word: Lulav(לו)
LULAV
King Yehoyakim slashes Baruch's scroll with a knife like he's trimming a lulav, and throws it in the fire.
Yirmiyahu dictates his prophecies to Baruch; King Yehoyakim burns the scroll, so it is rewritten.
In the fourth year of Yehoyakim, Yirmiyahu dictates all his prophecies to his scribe, Baruch. Baruch reads the scroll in the Temple. When the scroll is brought to King Yehoyakim, he defiantly cuts it with a scribe's knife piece by piece and throws it into a brazier. Hashem commands Yirmiyahu to dictate a new scroll, adding even more words of judgment.
