Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) — Perek 49

Prophecies of judgment against Amon, Edom, Damesek, Kedar, Chatzor, and Elam.

A series of pronouncements against neighboring nations. Amon is judged for taking Israelite territory. Edom is condemned for extreme pride and will be made entirely desolate like Sedom. Damesek (Aram) will be seized by panic. Kedar and Chatzor will be plundered by Nevuchadnetzar. Elam's bow will be broken, though a future restoration is promised for them.
