Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) — Perek 8

The bones of the kings will be exposed, and Yirmiyahu weeps over the stubborn refusal to repent.

The impending judgment is so severe that the bones of Yehudah's leaders will be dug up and exposed to the sun and moon they worshipped. Death will be preferred over life by the survivors. Even migratory birds know their seasons, but Hashem's people do not know His laws. The chapter ends with Yirmiyahu's profound grief for the brokenness of his people.
